Vietnam reports over 170,000 dengue cases in 10 months, up 26% YoY, as outbreak patterns shift

Vietnam recorded more than 170,600 dengue fever cases and 21 deaths in the first 10 months of 2026, while the disease is increasingly showing unpredictable patterns rather than following clear seasonal or cyclical trends, health officials and experts said.
