The exhibition, organized by Vinexad National Trade Fair and Advertising JSC under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, runs until Saturday.

The expo is one of Vietnam's largest annual trade promotion events in the food and beverage (F&B) sector.

This year’s event features a strong emphasis on health-focused innovation, organic ingredients, and products that reflect Vietnam’s regional culinary identity.

Many companies launched new products while aiming to expand their market reach and forge stronger trade partnerships in a fast-evolving industry.

Masan Group is showcasing its flagship brands Chin-su, Nam Ngu, Omachi, and WinEco.

A standout moment was the announcement that Nam Ngu fish sauce has officially entered Costco’s hypermarket chain in South Korea – a milestone in Masan’s strategy to globalize Vietnamese condiments by adhering to world-class quality and safety standards.

In the beverage segment, numerous brands are introducing various offerings made with organic ingredients, low-calorie formulas, and distinct regional flavors.

Golden Farm, a company with more than 25 years of experience in beverage ingredients, is displaying a wide range of new products made from Vietnamese farm produce, including concentrated syrups, taro-flavored topping sauces, and Asia-inspired teas.

The company also launched a premium fruit filling line, marking its debut in the bakery ingredients market.

“We aim to solidify our role as a pioneering domestic brand in F&B ingredients and to elevate the value of Vietnamese agriculture to international standards,” a Golden Farm representative said.

Positive signals for Vietnam’s food industry

At the opening ceremony, Nguyen Thi Kim Ngoc, deputy director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, said the economic outlook for 2025 is bright, particularly in the food sector.

She noted that before the national administrative merger took effect on July 1, the city’s gross regional domestic product (GRDP) grew by 7.82 percent in the first half of the year, surpassing the national average.

The food processing industry played a key role in that growth, with its industrial production index rising by an estimated 8.6 percent in the first seven months of 2025.

She added that Ho Chi Minh City’s industrial structure has become more adaptive following the administrative reorganization.

To support F&B businesses, the city is offering multiple incentives, including investments in modern equipment and improved processing techniques, to help raise product value and meet global standards.

She hoped the exhibition would spur further investment, technological advancement, and long-term sustainability for Vietnam’s F&B sector within the global value chain.
