At around 11:00 pm on Sunday, the provincial criminal police, working with other units, inspected the GDC Lucky Club gaming venue located in the Sheraton Hotel’s basement on Tran Phu Street, Nha Trang Ward.

Authorities found 13 foreigners engaged in illegal poker games.

Officers confiscated $3,500 in cash along with documents related to the gambling operation.

The GDC Lucky Club is registered as a prize-winning game club, with Ha Woang Minh Hoa, 30, from Ho Chi Minh City, listed as its legal representative.

Investigators said players exchanged money for cash-in tickets or deposited U.S. dollars directly into gaming machines.

The club collected a percentage commission from the total amount wagered.

Police are continuing to compile evidence and will handle the case according to Vietnamese law.
