Notably, Zeekr is a marque focused exclusively on electric cars.
During the Tasco Mobility Day 2025 event held in Hanoi on Saturday, Tasco Auto announced its plan to introduce a range of premium vehicles to Vietnam in 2026.
Among these are Lotus and Zeekr, two brands making their debut in the local market.
In September, Tasco Auto, one of Vietnam's largest auto distributors, first confirmed it would distribute the cars of British automaker Lotus in Vietnam.
The move is part of the company’s strategy to broaden its automotive portfolio, following the introduction of mainstream brand Geely, near-premium Lynk & Co, and luxury marque Volvo.
Tasco Auto also revealed plans to launch three Lotus models in Vietnam.

The first is the Lotus Eletre, a fully electric CUV positioned in the luxury segment.
The Eletre offers two powertrain options producing 603 horsepower and 905 horsepower, respectively.
Depending on the version, its driving range varies from 410 kilometers to 600 kilometers on a single charge.
In Vietnam, the Eletre can compete with premium electric SUVs such as the Porsche Macan EV, Audi Q6 e-tron, BMW iX3, and Mercedes EQE SUV.

It is also available with two electric motor configurations delivering 603 horsepower or 905 horsepower.
The Emeya offers a driving range of between 435 kilometers and 610 kilometers per charge, depending on the variant.
Once launched, it will face competition from luxury electric sedans including the Audi e-tron GT, Porsche Taycan, BMW i4, and Mercedes EQE.
The third model is the Lotus Emira, the final internal combustion engine car from the British brand.

The V6 version is powered by a 3.5-liter supercharged engine sourced from Toyota, producing 400 horsepower.
Torque output reaches 420 Nm with a six-speed manual transmission and 430 Nm with a six-speed automatic.
The Emira accelerates from 0 to 96 kph in 4.3 seconds with the manual gearbox and 4.2 seconds with the automatic, while top speed is rated at 288 kph.
In September 2024, Tasco Auto confirmed that it would distribute Zeekr cars.
Zeekr is a premium electric vehicle brand under Geely Holding, a major Chinese multinational automotive group.

Since its launch in 2021, Zeekr has expanded to more than 30 global markets, including European countries such as Sweden and the Netherlands, as well as markets across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
The brand has delivered over 310,000 vehicles worldwide.
At the event, Tasco Auto announced that two Zeekr models are expected to enter the Vietnamese market as early as next year, including the Zeekr 7X and the Zeekr 009.
The Zeekr 7X, internally codenamed CX1e, is built on Geely’s Sustainable Experience Architecture platform.
The Zeekr 7X measures 4,825 mm in length, 1,930 mm in width, and 1,656 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,925 mm.
The electric mid-size crossover SUV features an 800V high-voltage electrical architecture, offering improved energy efficiency compared to the more common 400V systems.
The 7X comes with two battery options: a 75kWh lithium iron phosphate battery with a CLTC-rated range of 605 km, and a 100-kWh nickel manganese cobalt battery delivering up to 780 km of driving range.
Meanwhile, the Zeekr 009 is a large multi-purpose vehicle, developed on the same platform as the Volvo EM90.

Depending on the variant, its driving range can reach up to 702 km on a single charge.
