The municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on Saturday confirmed the presence of these top Indian wedding planners in the city.
Deputy director of the department Tan Van Vuong said that since the start of the year, the city has served over 14.4 million visitors, a 22-percent year-on-year increase.
Notably, India has become the third-largest international source market for Da Nang, with visitor numbers doubling compared to the same period in 2024.
In recent years, Indian tourists have increasingly recognized Da Nang as a ‘paradise’ for upscale travel and an ideal location for wedding events, Vuong said.
Da Nang has been a pioneer in Vietnam of launching a pilot program specifically to attract wedding tourists.
The city offers unique hospitality features such as welcoming messages on LED screens at Da Nang International Airport, traditional cultural performances, and gifts for brides and grooms.
Special incentives include drone filming packages, honeymoon suite upgrades, and cyclo tours to enrich the wedding experience.
Murad Enver, business and marketing director at Inventum Global, praised Da Nang as one of Southeast Asia’s standout wedding destinations.
He pointed to the city’s modern infrastructure, internationally certified resorts, extensive transport network, and stunning natural beauty as key advantages.
The availability of large banquet halls, expansive outdoor venues, and beachfront resorts adaptable to various wedding styles, combined with exceptional service quality, has made Da Nang very appealing to the Indian market.

Great opportunities to host grand Indian weddings
According to Enver, traditional Indian weddings are characterized by large guest lists, multiple ceremonies, and grand scale events.
Da Nang is well equipped to meet these requirements, he said.
Beachfront hotels in the city offer perfect settings for hallmark rituals such as Mehndi, Sangeet, Baraat, and the main wedding ceremony.
“Da Nang’s culinary diversity is another major plus, with hotel kitchens well-versed in authentic Indian cuisine and strong collaborative ties that make guests feel at home,” Enver said.
“The city’s rich cultural heritage and natural beauty also transform weddings into unforgettable travel experiences,” he added.
Pradeep Chauhan, a representative of the Indian delegation, echoed these sentiments, lauding Da Nang’s readiness to accommodate cultural needs ranging from traditional ceremonies to multi-day festivities.
“I’m confident Da Nang will become one of the most attractive new wedding destinations for India,” Chauhan stated.
A representative of the Da Nang department also said that following the recent administrative merger with the former Quang Nam Province, which boasts diverse resources and tourism infrastructure, the new Da Nang City is ready to provide world-class conditions to host wedding celebrations for couples worldwide.

Exploring premium venues and experiences
During their visit, the Indian companies are touring iconic attractions in the city such as Sun World Ba Na Hills, the ancient town of Hoi An, and VinWonders Nam Hoi An.
They are also evaluating premium resorts including InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, Furama Danang Resort, Hyatt Regency Danang Resort, Wyndham Hoian Royal Beachfront Resort & Villas, and Vinpearl Resort & Golf Nam Hoi An.
Over the past few years, several Indian billionaires have chosen Da Nang for their weddings.
In 2024, a wedding party estimated to cost US$500,000 took place at a five-star resort, hosting many elite guests.
Da Nang is increasingly positioning wedding tourism as a key strategy to attract the ultra-rich, cementing its status as a luxurious and culturally rich wedding destination on the global map.
