The 3D mapping show runs for three consecutive nights—April 29, 30, and May 1—at the century-old museum located at 42 Bach Dang Street in Da Nang.

Each evening features two screenings, from 7:30 to 8:30 pm and from 9:00 to 10:00 pm.

Projected directly onto the museum’s historic façade, the show blends modern visual technology with rich historical storytelling, offering a dynamic and immersive experience to viewers.

Crowds began gathering well before the screenings, eager to find the best viewing spots.

Nguyen Thai Hoang, 32, from Lien Chieu District, said he came early after hearing about the show on social media.

“It’s my first time seeing such a spectacular 3D display. It made me feel truly proud and more connected to my homeland,” he shared.

The show is presented in three segments, each highlighting a distinct era in the city’s evolution.

The first segment, Da Nang’s Origins, explores the formation of the land and its early inhabitants, tracing historical development from prehistoric and protohistoric times through the ancient Sa Huynh, Champa, and Dai Viet civilizations.

The second segment, Epic of Struggle, recounts Da Nang’s pivotal role in Vietnam’s resistance movements—from the fight against French colonial forces (1858–1954) to the anti-American war (1954-1975)—as well as the city’s transformation during that period.

The final segment, Rising Forward, celebrates Da Nang’s post-reunification growth, its designation as a centrally governed city in 1997, and its emergence as a regional economic and cultural hub in the era of global integration.
