4 Vietnamese provinces join hands to develop tourism

The 'a journey – four localities – many experiences' tour lasts for five days and four nights

Ninh Binh Province in northern Vietnam and Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh Provinces in the north-central region are jointly promoting a tour to well-known tourist destinations in the four localities.

The provinces have strengthened the cooperation in developing tourism over the past many years, director of the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism Bui Van Manh said at a conference to announce the tour launched by the four in Hanoi on Thursday in the framework of the Vietnam International Travel Mart 2023.

Through the joint tourism product, they want to spread their tourism messages, Manh added.

The tour connecting the four provinces lasts for five days and four nights, carrying the 'a journey – four localities – many experiences' message.

During the tour, travelers can experience and explore typical tourism products of each province.

Destinations of the tour include Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, Bai Dinh Pagoda, and Hang Mua Tourist Site in Ninh Binh; Lam Kinh Relic Site and Anh Phat Tourist Site in Thanh Hoa; Cuong Temple, Cua Lo Beach, and Sen Village in Nghe An; and Ke Go Lake, Thien Cam Beach, and Huong Tich Pagoda in Ha Tinh.

Tourists taking the tour can also enjoy specialties such as goat meat, rice crust, fermented pork rolls, and seafood.

Cooperation is an important solution for tourism recovery and development after the COVID-19 pandemic, said Nguyen Trung Khanh, head of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.

He expected the collaboration of the four provinces to help leverage their potential and advantages, contributing to developing Vietnam’s tourism.
