The accident resulted in no injuries though several vehicles sustained damage and traffic gridlock persisted well into the early hours of the following day.

According to initial reports, the incident took place at around 8:00 pm when vehicles were descending the bridge in the direction from Phu Thuan Ward toward Cat Lai Ward.

The crash involved three trucks, one car, and two tractor-trailers.

At the scene, a truck and a car crashed into the trailer section of a tractor-trailer, leaving both vehicles positioned across the roadway and blocking the road.

The collision led to a snarl-up stretching along the bridge.

Traffic police responded promptly after receiving reports of the crash.

Officers were deployed to regulate traffic flow and begin investigating the cause of the incident.

It was not until 2:00 am on Thursday that the accident site was fully cleared.
