An 83-year-old man in Ha Tinh Province, north-central Vietnam died after his family’s German shepherd attacked him while he was feeding it.

Leaders of Viet Xuyen Commune in the province confirmed that the incident occurred on Thursday and resulted in the death of a local resident.

According to initial information, the victim, identified as D.H.Q. living in Phuc Loc Hamlet, went to the family’s dog enclosure on Thursday afternoon to feed the dog.
