Apple recently adjusted iCloud+ subscription prices in Vietnam, as well as in Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, New Zealand, Egypt, Türkiye, and Nigeria.

The new prices are now displayed on the App Store and Apple's service pages in Vietnam.

New subscribers will pay the updated rates immediately, while existing iCloud+ users will be charged the new prices from their next billing cycle.

In Vietnam, prices have increased across all iCloud+ plans.

The 50GB plan has risen from VND19,000 ($0.72) to VND25,000 ($0.95) per month, an increase of 31.6 percent, while the 200GB plan has gone up from VND69,000 ($2.6) to VND89,000 ($3.4) per month, nearly 29 percent higher.

The 2TB plan now costs VND299,000 ($11.4) per month, up from VND249,000 ($9.5), a rise of about 20 percent.

The larger plans have also seen significant price hikes, with the 6TB plan rising from VND699,000 ($26.6) to VND899,000 ($34.2) per month and the 12TB plan increasing from VND1.399 million ($53.2) to VND1.799 million ($68.7) per month.

The largest storage plan now costs an additional VND400,000 ($15.2) per month.

Apple has not provided an official explanation for the latest price adjustment.

However, according to international technology news outlets, the company is likely updating its regional pricing to reflect exchange rate fluctuations between the U.S. dollar and local currencies.

For example, the Japanese yen has weakened significantly against the U.S. dollar over the past year.

At the same time, Apple has also increased Apple Music subscription prices in some markets, including the United States, where the individual plan has risen from $10.99 to $11.99 per month.

Vietnam is not included in this round of Apple Music price increases.

On online forums and social media, many Vietnamese users have shared tips on paying for iCloud+ through e-wallets or payment methods that do not incur additional fees.

Some users reported that certain bank cards may charge extra transaction fees or apply less favorable exchange rates for international payments, making the final amount higher than Apple's listed price.

In June 2026, Apple also raised global prices for MacBooks, iPads, Apple TV devices, and several other hardware products by 15-25 percent, citing higher memory chip and storage component costs.
