The tournament, running from Wednesday to Saturday, brings together 317 coaches and athletes representing nine provinces and cities, including Can Tho, Da Nang, Dong Nai, Dong Thap, Hanoi, and Ha Tinh.
Competitions include swimming, chess, boccia, judo, and archery, which drawa 21 para-athletes.

Friday's archery contests featured 30-meter individual and mixed team events, while the 50-meter categories were held Thursday.
The sport is known for its technical difficulty and poses added challenges for disabled athletes, making this championship a vital platform for competition and development.

Veteran archer Bui Phuong Thanh, 43, who transitioned from track and field to archery four years ago, said the sport helped him build focus and patience.
"Archery is interesting and suits my condition. Training has taught me to stay calm and concentrate to hit the target," he said.

Nguyen Ngoc Hung stood out with four medals – two gold and two silver – across the 30m and 50m individual and team events with the three-string bow.
"I prepared for six months and always had my wife cheering me on, which boosted my confidence," Hung said.

The championship serves as a critical evaluation of athlete training and coaching ahead of the 13th ASEAN Para Games, scheduled for January in Thailand.
Medal standings in archery show Ho Chi Minh City 1 leading with six golds, seven silvers, and five bronzes, followed by Ho Chi Minh City 2 with six golds, five silvers, and one bronze, and Ho Chi Minh City 3 taking two bronze medals.
