Vietnam’s national football team will face hosts Thailand at 8:00 pm on Saturday in the first leg of the final.
Rajamangala Stadium, which has a capacity of more than 51,000, allocated 3,000 tickets to Vietnamese fans, in line with regulations requiring host organizers to reserve part of the stadium for visiting supporters.
The tickets were priced at 500 baht (about VND400,000 or US$15) each, the highest of five price categories offered by the Football Association of Thailand (FAT), ranging from 200 to 500 baht.
Vietnamese fans will be seated in a designated section on a curved stand near the area behind one of the goals, with security personnel assigned to ensure safety throughout the match.
As of Friday morning, no tickets remained for the Vietnamese section on Thailand’s online ticketing system.
Some overseas Vietnamese in Thailand managed to secure tickets online, while others who missed out have been seeking alternative ways to enter the stadium and support coach Kim Sang Sik’s side.
Despite strong demand from Vietnamese supporters, tickets remained available in many sections reserved for Thai fans.
Only the VIP W1 section on the west stand had also sold out, while seats in several other areas were still available.
The FAT began selling tickets for the match on August 18 through both online and in-person channels.
Vietnam’s national football team arrived in Bangkok on Thursday afternoon after beating Malaysia in the second leg of their semifinal on Wednesday night.
The team spent Thursday recovering and is scheduled to hold its only training session at Rajamangala Stadium at 5:00 pm Friday to familiarize itself with the venue and finalize preparations for the final.

Familiar ground for Kim Sang Sik
Rajamangala Stadium has been a successful venue for teams coached by Kim Sang Sik.
Kim remains unbeaten there against both Thailand’s senior and U23 teams, having recorded victories at the stadium in the ASEAN Cup 2024 final and the 33rd SEA Games in late 2025.
