Since 2016, the Australian government has invested AU$9.4 million (US$6.1 million) through the BPP in Vietnam, supporting 16 private-sector partnerships tackling climate change, growing sustainable carbon markets and improving livelihoods, particularly for women and people with disabilities.
These partnerships have mobilized a further AU$13.6 million ($8.86 million) in co-funding from the private sector.
The event reflected Australia’s enduring cooperation with Vietnam in building a green, inclusive, and climate-resilient future, as both nations have committed to as part of the Australia-Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
