Vietnamese engineer turns rice straw into firelighters for US, Canadian markets

After five years working as a design engineer in Hanoi, Nguyen Xuan Tai returned to his hometown in Thanh Hoa Province, north-central Vietnam and spent another five years developing bio-firelighters made from rice straw, which are now sold in the U.S. and Canada.
