-- Vietnamese Party General Secretary To Lam on Monday afternoon held talks with Chinese Party General Secretary and President Xi Jinping, who is paying a state visit to Vietnam from Monday to Tuúeday. The two sides agreed to establish a joint railway cooperation committee and expand collaboration in digital tranànormation as well as science-technology.

-- China is willing to expand the import of Vietnamese agricultural products and encourage Chinese enterprises to increase high-quality investment in Vietnam, Chinese Party General Secretary and President Xi Jinping said during a meeting with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in Hanoi on Monday.

-- Vietnamese Party General Secretary To Lam and State President Luong Cuong hosted a grand banquet for Chinese Party General Secretary and President Xi Jinping in Hanoi on Monday evening.

-- Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali and his spouse Zinash Tayachew arrived in Hanoi on Monday afternoon, beginning their four-day official visit to Vietnam and attendance at the fourth Partnership for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030 Summit at the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his spouse, the Vietnamese News Agency reported.

-- More than 226 kilometers of four expressway sections of the Eastern North–South Expressway through central Vietnam and the Ben Luc – Long Thanh Expressway in southern Vietnam will be put into operation on the occasion of the upcoming 50th anniversary of the liberation of southern Vietnam and Reunification Day on April 30, the Ministry of Construction stated in an official document sent to the Government Office.

-- The traffic police unit in Ho Chi Minh City has announced traffic restrictions on Le Duan Boulevard in District 1, starting from 9:00 pm on Monday and lasting until further notice. -- The death toll at last week's nightclub roof collapse in the capital of the Dominican Republic rose to 231, the Minister of Interior and Police said on Monday, as families of victims began filing lawsuits against the nightclub's owners, according to Reuters.
