-- A military delegation from Laos arrived at Terminal T2 of Phu Bai International Airport in Hue City, central Vietnam on Saturday to participate in a military parade in Ho Chi Minh City in celebration of the 50th anniversary of reunification on April 30.

-- Police in Binh Duong Province, southern Vietnam on Saturday issued a decision to temporarily detain two individuals in criminal custody for investigation into a factory collapse that killed three workers on Thursday.

-- The Airports Corporation of Vietnam on Saturday held a groundbreaking ceremony for the T2 passenger terminal at Dong Hoi Airport in north-central Quang Binh Province with a total investment of over VND1.75 trillion (US$67.5 million) to increase the airport's capacity to three million passengers per year.
