-- A car driven by a man struck five motorcycles stopped at a red light at an intersection in Thu Duc Ward, Ho Chi Minh City on Sunday afternoon, injuring several people, local authorities said.
-- Ho Chi Minh City authorities have approved plans to invest more than VND5.5 trillion (US$209.4 million) to upgrade and widen Ton That Thuyet Street and develop a green park along the Te Canal, according to a city government directive.

-- The Vietnamese government said on Sunday it aims to achieve economic growth of at least 10 percent in 2026, with per capita GDP of $5,400–5,500, while maintaining macroeconomic stability and controlling inflation.
-- Vietnamese canned food maker Halong Canfoco said on Sunday its board had approved a temporary suspension of production at its Hai Phong plant for up to 14 days, following the arrest of its chief executive and three other employees over allegations the company bought and processed more than 130 tonnes of African swine fever-infected pork.
-- Vietnam’s electric mobility company Xanh SM said it has raised its charter capital by 42 percent to VND35.5 trillion ($1.3 billion) from VND25 trillion ($951.7 million), with all funding coming from domestic sources, without disclosing its post-increase shareholders.
