-- President of the European Council António Costa arrived in Hanoi on Wednesday evening, beginning his two-day official visit to Vietnam at the invitation of State President Luong Cuong.

-- The government has issued Resolution No. 66.13, detailing regulations on the announcement of applicable standards and the registration of product declarations for food products, including functional foods.

-- Police in Quang Ninh Province, northern Vietnam have discovered and seized 3,790 kilograms of various food products, including sausages, squid paste, lobsters, snails, and dumplings, of unknown origin.

-- The Drug Crime Investigation Police Division under the Department of Public Security of Da Nang City, central Vietnam has busted the largest-ever cannabis cultivation, possession, and trafficking case in the city.
