-- Party chief Lam talked over the phone with Secretary-General of the People’s Action Party and Prime Minister of Singapore Lawrence Wong on Friday, suggesting a Party-to-Party dialogue mechanism be set up soon as a measure for enhancing bilateral ties.

-- Police in Hanoi said on Friday that the economic security division, in coordination with a market surveillance team, had inspected a food processing facility operated by Dung Phat Trading and Production Company in Van Phuc Hamlet, Nam Phu Commune, discovering that the establishment was producing and trading pork intestines of unclear origin.
