-- The organizers of the Miss Tourism Identity Vietnam 2026 pageant have issued an apology to the authorities in Quang Ngai Province, central Vietnam, a school, parents, students, and the public after around 50 schoolchildren were seated in the front rows as contestants performed in bikinis.

-- Authorities in Nha Trang Ward, Khanh Hoa Province, south-central Vietnam have introduced a series of measures to better manage electric cyclo services, including cracking down on cyclo and electric motorized cyclo operators that violate regulations, operate chaotically, and overcharge passengers.

-- The Da Nang administration on Saturday approved the investment policy and investor for the nearly 250-hectare VSIP Da Nang Industrial Park project, with a total investment of more than VND3.7 trillion ($140.6 million).

-- Phu Quoc in An Giang Province, southern Vietnam has been named one of the world’s 10 most appealing islands for 2026 by online travel platform Expedia on its Expedia Island Hot List 2026. The Vietnamese island is one of two Asian destinations on the list and was highlighted as an ideal destination for luxury vacations at affordable prices.
