-- Local authorities in Ho Chi Minh City have asked officials and the developer to investigate a crack on the 16th floor of a 36-story apartment building built in 2016 in Tam Thang Ward, formerly part of old Ba Ria–Vung Tau Province, and to ensure the safety of residents.

-- Authorities in Lam Dong Province have culled more than 200 pigs to prevent the spread of African swine fever, officials said on Sunday.

-- Da Nang’s transport board on Sunday proposed a resettlement and land clearance plan for a 116-km stretch of the North-South high-speed railway, which would run through 24 wards and communes in the city and require more than 843 hectares of land.

-- Vietnamese food brand An Cung Ba Tuyet generated more than VND130 billion (US$5 million) in revenue on e-commerce platforms in the first half of 2025, surpassing major consumer food names such as Trung Nguyen and Nescafé.

-- According to JJ Vietnam, average asking rents on ground floors of key shopping malls in central Hanoi rose 1.3 percent quarter on quarter and three percent year on year to $132.6 per square meter per month in the second quarter of 2025. In suburban areas, rents fell 0.9 percent year on year to $54.2 per square meter per month, mainly due to changes in supply at key malls.
