-- The Da Nang People’s Committee has approved adjustments to the city's 2021-30 housing development program, adding six areas for social housing development and planning a nearly 500-hectare reclaimed urban area project in Da Nang Bay.

-- Eight sets of martyrs' remains along with some accompanying artifacts were recovered at Le Thi Rieng Park in Ho Chi Minh City on Monday, bringing the total number of sets of martyrs' remains recovered at the site to 125, according to the Ho Chi Minh City High Command's martyrs' remains recovery team.

-- The Airports Corporation of Vietnam has proposed building a new Terminal T1 and a cargo warehouse as well as expanding aircraft parking stands at Cam Ranh International Airport in Khanh Hoa Province, south-central Vietnam.

-- The Can Tho-Da Lat air route will resume operations on August 19 to meet travel demand after being suspended while Lien Khuong Airport underwent repairs, according to Can Tho International Airport.

-- Police in Ninh Binh Province, northern Vietnam, have initiated criminal proceedings against two men for allegedly colluding to illegally mine more than 956 metric tons of antimony ore worth over VND6 billion (nearly US$228,000).

-- Around 30 officials and civil servants from Ho Chi Minh City and An Giang Province are taking part in an English language course supported by Singapore to prepare for APEC 2027.

-- The Authority of Press under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on Monday held an opening ceremony for a training course titled “smart journalism skills in the digital era” for 27 Cambodian information management officials and journalists at the Kim Do Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
