-- Hanoi police on Saturday announced temporary traffic bans and restrictions on several roads during specific time periods from May 11 to 13 to ensure security and traffic safety for the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

-- Vietnamese workers rank among the most optimistic about life in Southeast Asia. However, they are the least engaged with their workplaces in the region, according to the recently released State of the Global Workplace 2026 report by Gallup.

-- The Vietnam Institute of Family Medicine and Belgium’s Psychomotor Practice Aucouturier signed an agreement on Saturday in Ho Chi Minh City to implement an advanced training program on Aucouturier psychomotor practice in Vietnam for the 2026–29 period, with support from European experts.

-- Vietnam is Poland’s most important and promising partner in Southeast Asia, Joanna Skoczek, head of the Mission of the Embassy of Poland in Vietnam, said at a ceremony on Saturday and expressed a desire to further strengthen the two countries’ bilateral cooperation across multiple fields.

-- King’s College Wimbledon on Saturday held a press conference to launch its operations in Ho Chi Minh City. Through a partnership with Millennia Education, the school will introduce a British curriculum program in Vietnam from August 2027, offering education for students aged two to 18.
