Economy
-- Property consultancy Savills said in its Q1-2026 market report that average apartment prices in Hanoi had risen to about VND100 million (US$3,797) per square meter of usable area, roughly 10 percent higher than the average level in Ho Chi Minh City.
-- Vietnam’s auto sales fell 17 percent in April from the previous month to 31,937 vehicles despite heavy promotional campaigns by carmakers and dealers, although sales were still up eight percent from a year earlier, data released by the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers’ Association showed on Tuesday.
