-- Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung on Thursday held bilateral meetings with Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., Sultan of Brunei Hassanal Bolkiah, Prime Minister of Timor-Leste Xanana Gusmao, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, and President of the Asian Development Bank Masato Kanda on the sidelines of the 48th ASEAN Summit in Cebu, the Philippines.

-- The General Department of Logistics-Technology under the Ministry of National Defense is seeking investors for a housing project for military families in Thanh Hoa Province, north-central Vietnam. The project, estimated to cost around VND1.5 trillion (US$58 million), will comprise about 1,000 apartments upon completion.

-- Thanh Hoa Province has reported the death of a 14-year-old child in Dong Son Ward due to Japanese encephalitis, the provincial Center for Disease Control said on Thursday.

-- General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and State President To Lam on Thursday witnessed the exchange of 27 cooperation agreements between Vietnamese and Indian firms, as part of the India-Vietnam Business Forum in Mumbai.

-- Chief Minister of India’s Maharashtra state Devendra Fadnavis expected Vietnamese enterprises to make more investments into the pharmaceutical, agriculture, tourism and infrastructure sectors, proposing opening a direct air route between Maharashtra and Ho Chi Minh City, heard a meeting between Party chief and State President Lam and Chief Minister Fadnavis on Thursday, as part of the Vietnamese leader’s state visit to India.

-- Michelin said on Thursday that its 2026 Michelin Guide would unveil a list of recognized food establishments in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang in June.
