-- Quang Tri Province in central Vietnam has completed the exhumation and collection of biological samples from 22,864 martyrs’ graves at 130 cemeteries for DNA testing to identify the remains.

-- Hong Bang International University Hospital was inaugurated in Ho Chi Minh City’s Hiep Binh Ward on Sunday, with 350 beds, 28 departments, two specialized units, and equipment supporting surgery, diagnostic imaging, laboratory testing, and dialysis.

-- According to the State Bank of Vietnam’s Regional Office 2, the total outstanding property-sector loans for restaurants, hotels, tourist attractions, and eco- and resort properties in Ho Chi Minh City reached VND30 trillion (US$1.1 billion) at the end of August, accounting for about 1.9 percent of the total outstanding real estate loans and up 12.5 percent year on year.
