-- Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federal Assembly Vyacheslav Volodin will lead a high-level delegation to pay an official visit to Vietnam from September 28 to 29 at the invitation of Chairman of Vietnam's National Assembly Tran Thanh Man, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

-- Super typhoon Ragasa, the ninth to hit the East Vietnam Sea this year, is forecast to make landfall in Quang Ninh Province around noon on Thursday and gradually weaken, bringing heavy rainfall to the northern region, according to the national weather center.
