Chairman of the Can Tho government Truong Canh Tuyen signed a document related to the registration and submitted it to the Government Office and the Ministry of Construction.
In particular, the city chose the grand opening of Vinmec Can Tho General Hospital, developed by Vietnam's largest private conglomerate Vingroup in mid-March; the ceremony to announce the completion of a citywide initiative to eliminate makeshift and dilapidated housing, scheduled for April 24; the groundbreaking ceremony for the BESTWAY factory in the VSIP Can Tho, set for April 25; and the investment registration certificate handover and groundbreaking ceremony for the Aeon Mall Can Tho shopping center, planned for April 26.
The Aeon Mall Can Tho shopping center, located in Binh Thuy District, will carry an estimated price tag of US$230 million.
When finished, it will be the largest shopping mall in the Mekong Delta region.
The project will be developed by Hoa Lam Can Tho Investment and Development Joint Stock Company.
