On Saturday evening, the DIFF 2025 grand finale, themed 'The New Rising Era,' illuminated Da Nang's skyline with a breathtaking artistic showdown between the two finalists along the Han River.
The finale marked the conclusion of the 15th DIFF edition, which ran from May 31 to July 12, featuring 10 teams from nine countries—including Finland, Poland, China, the UK, Portugal, South Korea, Italy, Canada, and the host nation Vietnam, which fielded two teams.

Jiangxi Yangfeng opened the final with its performance titled 'Da Nang: Shining Pearl, City of the Future,' a dazzling display of ten musical pieces designed to highlight Da Nang as a beacon of peace and aspiration in Asia.
In a striking cultural fusion, the team incorporated the Vietnamese song 'Bac Bling' into their display, perfectly synchronized with mid- and low-level fireworks sweeping across the water, creating a light-dance effect that symbolized the cultural bridge between Vietnam and China.
Meanwhile, in its historic first-ever appearance in the final, Z121 Vina Pyrotech (Vietnam 1 team) from the Ministry of National Defense unveiled a meticulously curated four-part light and sound show titled 'Message of Peace.'
The performance wove sweeping visual effects and spiral bursts into a powerful musical narrative, shifting from majestic grandeur to gentle introspection to emphasize that while development is inevitable, peace remains essential.

Throughout the festival, judges commended the creativity and execution of all participating teams, noting that DIFF 2025 surpassed all previous editions.
After careful deliberation, the organizers announced Jiangxi Yangfeng as the DIFF 2025 champion and awarded the runner-up title to Z121 Vina Pyrotech, with cash prizes of US$20,000 and $10,000, respectively.

Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, deputy chairwoman of the Da Nang administration, announced plans to expand DIFF on a larger scale over the next five years to contribute to driving Da Nang's nighttime economy, tourism, and cultural brand.
This expansion matches the city's vision to become green, smart, modern, and internationally recognized, Thi said.
