The project marks the first overseas investment by Hunan Hualian Ceramics Company.

The development covers 43.8 hectares in Nong Cong and Yen Tho Communes, including about 33 hectares of industrial land.

Once fully operational, the project is expected to produce 170 million household ceramic products annually, with export revenue projected to exceed $200 million a year.

Phase one, including factory buildings and supporting infrastructure, has been completed one year ahead of schedule, carrying a price tag of nearly $100 million.

The company is installing six advanced production lines and aims to begin operations next month, with phase one exports expected to reach over $100 million annually.

Mai Xuan Liem, vice-chairman of the provincial administration, emphasized the project as a key FDI investment in the industrial sector.

He said the investment would play an important role in the province's shift toward high-tech processing and manufacturing, contributing to economic restructuring, added value, and sustainable exports.

The province expects Etrillion Ceramics to ensure safe and efficient operations, complete remaining facilities quickly, and move forward with the next phases as planned.
