The No. 8 Rhapsody concert, themed Les Miserables, part of the “I Dreamed a Dream” series, which is set for April 27 and 28 in Hanoi, will raise funds to help children with cleft lips and cleft palates.

The concert, which will be held at 7:30 pm on April 27 and 28 at Cong Nhan Theater, will see performances by the Rhapsody Philharmonic of famous movie tracks, such as ‘Skyfall,’ ‘I Have a Dream,’ ‘My Heart Will Go On,’ and ‘Can You Feel the Love Tonight.’

The show, which will also feature beauty queen Duong Tu Anh, the program ambassador, will put up a number of items for auction, such as CDs featuring local celebrities' autographs and wooden, gem-studded dolls.

Tickets are sold for VND500,000 (US$25) for the April 27 show, VND200,000 (US$9.5) for students and VND300,000 (US$14.3) for the April 28 show.

The Rhapsody Philharmonic was founded in late 2010 by drummer Nguyen Hung Cuong and his friend Luu Quang Minh. Its 70 members perform on a regular basis.

The organizers of the series ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ also held two street concerts on April 13 and 20 in Hanoi.
