The initiation ceremony took place on Thursday at the park in Da Nang City, central Vietnam.
The upcoming facility will span two floors and cover 10,000 square meters, with capacity for up to 1,000 racks and a minimum power load of 10 megawatts.
The company plans to begin construction in early 2026 with a total investment of $200 million, including $20 million allocated for the first phase.
Once completed, AIDC DeCenter will rank among Vietnam’s first AI-focused data centers built to Tier 3-plus or Tier 4 standards, serving as a hub for next-generation HPC, AI, blockchain, and cloud infrastructure.
Tran Chi Cuong, deputy chairman of the Da Nang administration, praised the project as a milestone for the city’s economic and technological development.
“The successful attraction of a data center project to the park demonstrates Da Nang’s growing position as a technology hub of the central and Central Highlands regions,” he said.
Cuong added that the center will boost the city’s IT infrastructure, enhance systems for AI, cloud, and IoT applications, and offer a strong foundation for digital transformation across agencies and enterprises.
The project is also expected to generate tax revenue, support ancillary services, and strengthen Da Nang’s role on the global tech map.
Vladimir Kangin, CEO of IPTP Networks, described AIDC DeCenter as more than a data facility.
He said it would be the first international digital infrastructure ecosystem in Vietnam, designed to help organizations lower costs, reduce reliance on single-service providers, and ensure fast, multidirectional connectivity with minimal latency.
Vietnam’s data center market is projected to expand rapidly, growing from 524.7 megawatts in 2025 to 950.4 megawatts by 2030, according to research by Mordor Intelligence and GII Research.
IPTP Networks, with more than 29 years of experience in telecommunications and data center operations, was ranked among the world’s top 40 Internet service providers by ASRanking in 2018.
The company currently manages infrastructure at over 70 data centers in 66 cities across 37 countries, serving more than 5,000 enterprise clients worldwide.
