Along streets adorned with red flags, numerous cafés across the city are embellished with the national flag and banners celebrating the holiday.
At a café on Pham Hong Thai Street in Hai Chau Ward, the space is divided into photo corners with the theme 'Independence - Freedom - Happiness,' blending old tiled roofs, red flags with yellow stars, and historical photos.
"Everywhere these days, from the streets to social media, you can feel the festive spirit of September 2," said Tran Anh Thu, a resident of Hai Chau Ward.
“Besides museums, cafés decorated with the national flag are also ideal places for me to soak up the atmosphere of this historic occasion.”

According to Bui Huong, manager of the café on Pham Hong Thai Street, customer numbers during the holiday have surged, with most being groups of young people.
"Since early August, we have planned the decorations in the hope of spreading patriotism and national pride," Huong said.
“We want each visitor not only to enjoy a good cup of coffee but also to experience the spirit of solidarity and pride that comes with National Day.”
Several cafés have also introduced new drinks decorated with national flag motifs to offer visitors fresh experiences.

An online 'fever' has spread across social media, prompting young people to don 'ao dai' (Vietnamese traditional costume) or T-shirts featuring the national flag and flock to these venues to join the celebrations.
"With flags everywhere, I feel so proud to be living in this atmosphere. Posting beautiful photos on social media as the whole country celebrates September 2 is also a way to spread patriotism," said 24-year-old Khanh Quynh.
