The People’s Committee of Son Tra Ward has recently announced the results of a public consultation on the 1/500-scale detailed planning dossier for the riverside green park project on Van Dong and Le Van Duyet Streets.

After 30 days of displaying the planning documents for public feedback, the ward authorities said they had received no comments from individuals or organizations regarding the project.

The ward has announced the conclusion of the consultation period, allowing relevant agencies and Han River Sun Co., Ltd. to proceed with the next steps in accordance with regulations.

In April, the company submitted a proposal to relevant authorities in Da Nang seeking to develop the green park.

The firm is the investor of the Symphony 2 high-end commercial service complex, which has already received approval as an investment project from the Da Nang authorities.

It is currently accelerating procedures to begin construction in line with the approved schedule.

During the implementation process, the firm identified that the land plot adjacent to the southeast of the project, covering over one hectare, had been designated as public green space.

However, the site has not yet been developed.

“To contribute to completing social infrastructure, creating public spaces serving residents, and reducing pressure on state budget investment, we propose that the municipal Department of Construction consider advising the municipal administration to approve the investment policy and accept the company’s sponsorship for the project at the above-mentioned site,” the company stated in its proposal.

The project, named the Van Don - Le Van Duyet Green Park Combined with Parking Area, covers a site bordered by Bui Duong Lich Street to the northeast, Van Don Street to the southeast, the Symphony 2 high-end commercial service complex to the northwest, and Le Van Duyet Street to the southwest.

The project aims to develop a green park with synchronized technical infrastructure and public amenities, while providing a suitable parking area to meet residents’ needs for community activities, recreation, and physical exercise.

It is also expected to improve the urban landscape, enhance the environment, and raise the quality of life in the surrounding area.

The project has a total investment of nearly VND11 billion, sourced from the investor’s funding, and is slated for completion before the fourth quarter of 2027.

The municipal administration approved the plan proposed by the municipal Department of Construction regarding acceptance of the investment proposal dossier and receipt of sponsorship for the project on May 20.
