The fest will treat residents and tourists to not only a wide array of culinary experiences but also cultural showcases, music performances, and tourism activities.

This year’s edition will feature more than 100 booths and 70 street-food stalls.

One of the opening highlights will be the ‘Da Nang Flavor Parade,’ scheduled for 5:00 pm on May 20 along the Pham Van Dong coastal route.

More than 70 creatively designed food stalls will showcase local specialties, central Vietnam’s seafood, and international dishes.

The official opening ceremony is set for 7:30 pm on May 21 at East Sea Park.

The event will combine music, lighting displays, artistic performances, and culinary experiences to tell the story of Quang-style cuisine and its evolution over time.

Throughout the festival, the ‘Quang-style Culinary Essence’ space will operate daily from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm, featuring over 200 local, regional, and international food booths, alongside ‘One Commune One Product’ products and typical agricultural goods.

Visitors will also be able to explore the ‘Colors of Quang-style food’ photography area, which recreates traditional Quang-style kitchens, basket boats from coastal communities and fishing village settings.

Another major attraction is expected to be the Beer Fest Night on May 23, offering more than 5,000 food-and-beer combo packages together with live music, interactive games, and promotional activities.

The festival will wrap up on May 24 with a large-scale multi-sensory concert gathering together lots of well-known Vietnamese performers.

As part of the broader program, Da Nang will also launch the Da Nang Food Tours 2026 series, featuring culinary experiences in Da Nang, Hoi An, Dien Ban, Tam Ky, and Dai Loc.

The initiative is aimed at promoting food tourism linked to local culture and heritage spaces.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony on Thursday, Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, vice-chairwoman of the Da Nang People’s Committee, said the city welcomed nearly six million visitors staying at accommodation facilities during the first four months of 2026, up 19.2 percent year on year.

During the long-day holiday including the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day, which falls on April 26 or the 10th day of the third lunar month, Reunification Day (April 30), and International Workers’ Day (May 1), Da Nang ranked among the country’s top destinations in both tourism revenue and visitor arrivals, receiving some 1.46 million tourists, a year-on-year increase of nearly 35 percent.

Thi said that the figures demonstrated Da Nang’s growing appeal and provided momentum for the city to continue developing distinctive tourism products with greater cultural depth.

The Da Nang Food Tour Festival 2026 will represent a strategic effort to turn Quang-style cuisine into a signature tourism product, helping position Da Nang as one of the region’s premier culinary destinations, she added.
