Strengthening westerly winds and improved wind convergence from Thursday to Saturday will possibly lead to intensified rainfall.
The southern region is expected to see variable cloudiness, occasional sunny intervals during the day, and widespread showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening.
From Sunday onward, rainfall may decrease and become more scattered.
Residents should stay alert for potential severe weather phenomena, including lightning, hail, strong gusts, and localized flooding.
In related news, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting warned of heavy rainfall in the Central Highlands and southern provinces from late Wednesday through Thursday, with total rainfall amounts between 30 and 60mm and isolated locations exceeding 100mm.
The national weather center added that particularly intense downpours exceeding 100mm in three hours are possible.
Intense downpours could cause flooding in low-lying areas, urban centers, and industrial zones.
The public should be cautious of flash floods in small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes, and dangerous fast-flowing water in urban drainage systems and canals.
