This memorable display marked the opening ceremony of the summer travel season, hosted by Hoi An Memories Land, a tourism culture resort complex adjacent to the ancient town, under the theme “Fly Over the Heritage.”

Along with a 600-drone light show, the event also featured a refreshed 60-minute version of the Hoi An Memories Show; a six-minute fireworks display; and a six-minute paragliding-fire fusion show.

All took place along the Thu Bon River, drawing thousands of spectators.

The number ‘6’ was featured throughout, symbolizing the commencement date: Friday, June 6.

During the summer season, visitors can book a paragliding tour lasting 15-20 minutes over the Thu Bon River and the old town’s iconic landmarks, guided by a certified instructor.

Flights run daily from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, subject to weather conditions, at a price of VND2 million (US$77) per person.

Each paragliding participant also receives an eco-class ticket to the attractive Hoi An Memories Show.
