Former Vietnamese pharmaceutical executive accused of paying millions in bribes to hospitals

The Supreme People's Procuracy of Vietnam has indicted Pham Van Cach, former chairman of Son Lam Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company in Hanoi, for allegedly paying more than VND71 billion (US$2.7 million), in bribes to hospital officials across the country to win drug supply contracts.
