The wide-body Boeing 777-300ER was greeted with a water cannon salute on arrival.
Local officials, including leaders from the Da Nang People's Committee and the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, attended a ceremony welcoming the inaugural flight, which carried 333 passengers.
The service, which will operate four times a week, is part of Emirates' strategic expansion in Southeast Asia.
It adds Da Nang to the carrier's Vietnam network, alongside Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Emirates currently operates 25 weekly flights to Vietnam, including daily services to Hanoi and 14 flights a week to Ho Chi Minh City.

The Dubai–Da Nang flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Each flight departs Dubai at 9:00 am, stops in Bangkok at 6:25 pm, and arrives in Da Nang at 9:15 pm.
Return flight departs Da Nang at 11:30 pm, with scheduled arrival in Dubai at 6:50 am the next day.
Deputy chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong said the new route supports the city's ambition to become a regional financial and logistics hub, and aligns with national policies to promote international investment and connectivity.
Da Nang, located in central Vietnam, serves as a gateway to several UNESCO heritage sites including Hue, Hoi An Ancient Town, and My Son Sanctuary.
