Residents of the apartment building and nearby areas, including Alley 204 on Nguyen Van Huong Street in An Khanh Ward, reported the ongoing waterlogging.
On Tuesday afternoon, a stretch of road several dozen meters long was flooded directly in front of the apartment building.

According to residents, water accumulation in front of the building has been present since early April 2025 and has still not receded.
Water covered about half the roadway. Although not deep, the flooding has still significantly disrupted daily life. In some areas, stagnant water, algae, slippery surfaces, and foul odors were observed.
According to Tran Do Gia Bao, deputy head of the management board of Thu Thiem Sky, water accumulation in front of the building has been ongoing since early April.
The issue has caused inconvenience in transportation, raised potential health risks, and affected more than 300 households in the building as well as nearby residents.

Another stagnant pool of water also appears in Alley 204 on Nguyen Van Huong Street, near Thu Thiem Sky apartment building in An Khanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
He said wastewater of unclear origin has been stagnating in front of the building, draining very slowly or not at all.
Recent rainfall in Ho Chi Minh City has worsened the situation, with water sometimes covering the entire road surface.
By Tuesday afternoon, the water had slightly receded, Bao added.
Residents have submitted a formal petition regarding the issue to the An Khanh Ward authorities.

Flooding in front of Thu Thiem Sky apartment building in An Khanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City makes it difficult for residents to enter and exit the building.
Just a few dozen steps away, another stagnant pool of water was seen, ankle-deep and spreading across a badly deteriorated, pothole-ridden road, making it even harder to get through.
Many residents have had to walk or ride along the sidewalk instead of going through the flooded stretch.

Flooded areas are often lower than the surrounding road surface.
A security guard working in the area, Huynh Lam, said the situation has lasted for about a month, with at least three to four similar flooding points along the road.
Following the complaints, the economic, infrastructure, and urban affairs unit of An Khanh Ward has planned to meet with the apartment management board and representatives of households in Alley 188 and Alley 204 to investigate the cause and propose solutions.

Residents have to move onto the sidewalk to avoid passing through flooded sections.
