Vietnam proposes fines of over $150 for cooked food handlers failing to trim fingernails, wear gloves

Vietnam’s Ministry of Justice is reviewing a draft decree that would impose stricter fines on food safety violations, including penalties of up to VND4 million (US$152) for restaurant workers who fail to trim fingernails or wear gloves when handling cooked food.
