It consumes just 8.2 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers in mixed driving conditions, slightly more efficient than the Sport version’s 8.56 liters per 100 kilometers.
This launch came less than a month after the model's debut in Thailand.
The price of the Everest Sport Special Edition is VND21 million ($809) higher than that of the standard Sport version, so it is positioned above the latter, but below the Titanium, Titanium+ and Platinum variants.
It had previously made an appearance at the 2025 Bangkok International Motor Show.
Visually, the Everest Sport Special Edition sets itself apart with a black decal on the hood, emphasizing a more muscular and sporty design.
Other blacked-out elements include the roof, rear spoiler, window trims, mirror caps, decorative trims, and door handles.
The car also rides on striking 20-inch black alloy wheels with red accents, reminiscent of those found on the Ranger Stormtrak.

Inside, the cabin is equipped with eight-way power-adjustable front seats, a dual-zone automatic climate control system, rear-seat air vents.
The version also features a 10.1-inch color touchscreen supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with Bluetooth connectivity, Ford’s SYNC 4A system, FordPass Connect, four USB ports, and an eight-speaker audio system.
The Everest Sport Special Edition uses a 2.0L turbo diesel engine producing 170 horsepower and 405 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive.
The vehicle supports four driving modes: Normal, Eco, Slippery, and Tow/Haul.

With the launch of the edition, the Everest range in Vietnam now consists of six variants, giving consumers more choices and strengthening Ford's presence in the competitive SUV segment.
The Ford Everest continues to dominate the seven-seat SUV market in Vietnam, with 2,134 units sold in the first quarter of 2025, ranking it seventh in the overall market and first in its segment.
