The Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, along with the Lao president, government, National Assembly, and Lao Front for National Construction, sent congratulations to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the state president, government, National Assembly, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
In their messages, Lao leaders hailed the historic 1975 spring victory—culminating in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign—as a major global event and a brilliant achievement in the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
They noted the victory was not only a triumph for the Vietnamese people and military but also a shared success of the Vietnam–Laos combatant alliance and the solidarity among Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia.
The Lao government praised Vietnam's achievements in recent years, noting the country's growing regional and global stature.
They expressed confidence that under the leadership of Party General Secretary To Lam, Vietnam would continue to reach even greater heights.
Lao leaders also reaffirmed their pride in the special, loyal bond between the two nations, emphasizing the deepening friendship and the practical benefits it brings to both peoples.
They expressed sincere gratitude for the Vietnamese Party and people's consistent and timely support.
On this occasion, Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone sent congratulations to Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
Lao Foreign Minister Thongsavanh Phomvihane and Bounleua Phandanouvong, acting head of the Lao Party's Commission for External Relations, also sent messages to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son.
From Cambodia, President of the Cambodian People's Party Samdech Techo Hun Sen addressed a letter to Party General Secretary To Lam.
Prime Minister Samdech Hun Manet and National Assembly President Khuon Sudary congratulated their counterparts Pham Minh Chinh and Tran Thanh Man, respectively.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn also conveyed his congratulations to Son.
In their messages, Cambodian leaders called April 30, 1975 a proud milestone in history, symbolizing the patriotism, unity, and sacrifices of the Vietnamese people, Party, and army in their just struggle for national liberation and reunification.
They expressed confidence in Vietnam's continued success on its path toward industrialization and modernization by 2030, and affirmed the importance of strong Cambodia–Vietnam ties rooted in mutual support, shared values, and long-term cooperation.
They pledged to further strengthen bilateral relations in a spirit of good neighborliness, traditional friendship, and sustainable partnership.

President of the Cuban National Assembly Esteban Lazo Hernández also sent a letter to National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, offering heartfelt congratulations on the 50th anniversary of Vietnam's reunification.
He called the 1975 victory a powerful symbol of the Vietnamese people's unwavering will to defend their sovereignty and unity.
"On this glorious anniversary, we are proud to have always stood with Vietnam," Hernández wrote.
"Our friendship is built on a shared history of struggle and deep admiration for the strength and resilience of the Vietnamese people."
Other international leaders and organizations also sent congratulations.
The Communist Party of India extended greetings to the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar sent his message to Bui Thanh Son.
Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra congratulated her Vietnamese counterpart and expressed appreciation for the strong bilateral friendship.
She reiterated Thailand's commitment to deepening ties with Vietnam.
Thai Foreign Minister Maris Sangiampongsa also extended congratulations to Bui Thanh Son.
The Sri Lankan People's Liberation Front sent greetings to the Communist Party of Vietnam, while Shah Alam, President of the Communist Party of Bangladesh, congratulated Party General Secretary To Lam.
In Europe, Belarusian officials, including Natalia Kochanova, Chairperson of the Council of the Republic, and Igor Sergeenko, Speaker of the House of Representatives, sent messages to National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.
Malaysian Foreign Minister Mohamad Bin Haji Hasan also conveyed his congratulations to Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son.
