A social media post featuring a photo purportedly showing the instructor at a gym and screenshots of an alleged conversation with his landlord has been widely shared online.
The post has sparked sympathy among social media users, many of whom urged California Fitness & Yoga to settle its employees' unpaid salaries and suggested making voluntary contributions to support instructors.
“Can someone share the instructor's contact details? I'd like to hire him for private yoga lessons at home,” one commenter wrote.
The claims have not been independently verified.
The incident has drawn attention to broader troubles at California Fitness & Yoga, where unexpected club closures have left members scrambling, while employees have reportedly gone months without salaries and insurance contributions.
In late September, the chain also announced the temporary suspension of certain services at its Centuryon counters nationwide.
The company attributed the changes to expiring property leases, investment planning, operational adjustments, and its long-term service development strategy.
