The film, directed by Philippe Lacheau, sold nearly 1.2 million tickets in its first five days in French theaters, the strongest opening for a French film since 2023, according to Box Office Mojo.
Admissions rose to nearly 2.8 million by the film's second week in release, while box-office revenue increased 17 percent from the opening week.
Ticket sales surpassed five million after one month before the film finished its theatrical run in France with more than 6.1 million admissions.

The live-action and CGI production is based on Marsupilami, the yellow-spotted character created by Belgian cartoonist André Franquin.
The character later appeared in comic books, television series, and other adaptations, becoming widely known in Europe and in international markets including Vietnam.
Lacheau also stars in the film alongside Jean Reno, Jamel Debbouze, Élodie Fontan, and Julien Arruti.
