2 Vietnamese frigates to join joint patrol with Chinese navy in Gulf of Tonkin

Two Vietnamese frigates will participate in a joint naval patrol and training exercise with the Chinese Navy in the Gulf of Tonkin, as part of the 10th Vietnam-China Border Defense Friendship Exchange, scheduled for March 18 and 19 in Quang Ninh Province, northern Vietnam and China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
