Beauty beyond the crown
Held under the theme 'Mien Huong Sac' (Land of Beauty and Fragrance), the final featured 25 contestants selected after months of screening and training.
They competed in traditional ao dai (Vietnamese long dress), swimsuit, and evening gown rounds before the field was narrowed to 15, then 10, and finally five contestants.
The top five answered questions about contemporary issues, including technology, social media, cultural identity, and the responsibilities of young people.
Ahead of the final, the contestants joined cultural and community activities in Hai Phong, including visiting the historic K15 Wharf, meeting disadvantaged children, and participating in environmental protection initiatives.
Speaking at the event, Phung Cong Suong, editor-in-chief of Tien Phong (Vanguard) newspaper and head of the organizing committee, asserted that the pageant celebrates more than physical beauty.
"We have always believed that true beauty lies not only in physical appearance but also in intelligence, character, cultural depth, and the positive values each individual brings to the community," he said.
He added that the competition continued to uphold four core values: Beauty, Culture, Intelligence, and Contribution.
"The crown is a recognition of today's achievements, but responsibility and contribution are what create tomorrow's value," Suong said.

Established in 1988, Miss Vietnam is the country's longest-running beauty pageant.
Over the years, it has crowned several prominent beauty queens, including Do My Linh, Tran Tieu Vy, Do Thi Ha, and Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy, many of whom have gone on to participate in charitable and community initiatives.
This year's final, themed 'Weaving Heritage – Paving the Way for Youth,' combined fashion and artistic performances highlighting the connection between Vietnamese traditions and modern youth.
The event also offered Hai Phong an opportunity to promote its coastal tourism attractions, particularly the Do Son area.
