At the eatery on Dinh Liet Street, where Lee and his wife ate on April 23, customers have been queueing since the early morning, some choosing to wait specifically for the table used by the presidential couple.
Nguyen Thi Thuy, a local resident, said she waited around 30 minutes despite available seats to sit at the same table, adding she expected the meal to feel more special.

The restaurant's owner, Thieu Van Mui, said business has been noticeably busier since the visit, with more customers arriving daily, including visitors from other cities and South Korean tourists.
Mui said the presidential delegation ordered 17 bowls of 'pho' and two plates of fried rice, and finished the meal in about 25 minutes after the restaurant had roughly two hours to prepare.

He added that while many customers have asked to reserve the table or offered to pay extra, the restaurant has kept its listed prices unchanged.
South Korean President Lee Jae Myung made a state visit to Vietnam from April 21 to 24 at the invitation of Vietnamese General Secretary and State President To Lam, his first trip to the Southeast Asian country as president.
During the visit, the two sides held talks and witnessed the signing of multiple cooperation agreements, aimed at deepening their comprehensive strategic partnership.
