The AI hotline and chatbot are designed to create an engagement channel between the public and local police forces, through which the department provides guidance on administrative procedures, fire safety, crime reporting, crime prevention, and other essential areas.
Residents can contact the free hotline at 1900 0113 to ask questions and receive automated responses from the system’s functional units.
Callers can also submit information or concerns to the AI operator.
Meanwhile, the AI chatbot is available on the Digital Capital Citizen application (iHanoi) of the Hanoi People’s Committee via QR code access.
To make it easier for residents to connect, police have distributed 8,000 QR code leaflets across offices, neighborhoods, and public spaces.
Once connected, users can send text or voice messages and receive automated answers from Hanoi police’s AI staff.
Reports of crimes submitted by the public will be forwarded to the Investigation Police Agency under the Hanoi Department of Public Security for review, classification, verification, and handling.
Traffic violations will be referred to the traffic police division for inspection and appropriate action.
Feedback or complaints about police officers will be directed to the Hanoi Police Inspectorate, while other information related to security and public order will be sent to relevant units for processing.
Besides, the department has also launched three other digital transformation products.
The first is the smart 113 and 114 emergency call system, which automatically filters out spam or irrelevant calls to prevent network congestion during emergencies.
It also uses speech-to-text technology to quickly record and analyze call content, enabling faster and more accurate responses.
Another is the digital museum, which digitizes the history of the police force and presents it on an interactive platform.
Visitors can explore artifacts, notable figures, and historical events through 360-degree virtual tours at https://baotangcahn.hanoi.gov.vn, where high-resolution images provide a lifelike experience.
The third is the smart digitalization and electronic archiving system, which incorporates modern features to build a centralized database for the city police.
