Hanoi students use art to promote environment protection
Elementary students joined a drawing contest in the hopes of raising awareness for environmental protection issues
Hundreds of students at a elementary school in Hanoi joined a drawing contest on Tuesday in the hopes of raising awareness for environmental protection issues.
Among the contestants’ colorful drawings, a picture depicting robot vacuum collecting trash in a park by Kieu Ngoc Ha An, a fourth-grader at Trung Yen Primary School in Hanoi, captured the attention of many in attendance.
“I hope robots can help people clean up garbage in the park since there is too much of it today,” An said.

Tuesday’s event was part of the second edition of the ‘For A Green Vietnam’ drawing festival, hosted by the Central Council of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization in cooperation with the education ministry and Thien Long Group.
The campaign aims to enhance artistic creativity in young children.
Other activities at the event were aimed at encouraging a love and awareness of protecting the environment in children from 6-15 years.
